The Inverted Map

Have you visited Grand Koster Canyon? Or ever dreamt of fishing cod in the Øresund Valley? Why not have a submarine picnic in Stockholm Meadows or sail up the Baltic Mountains?

The Inverted Map is a playful way of showing that the sea is not flat below the surface.

Click on the fictional names in the map to see what it looks like under the sea. The texts are in Swedish though… sorry about that.

The Inverted Map is a cooperation between The Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management and The Geological Survey of Sweden where we turn the dimensions upside down.
