The first SwAM Ocean concluded in 2024. Here are ten products to use in your marine management, spatial planning, protection and development

  3. Guide to address poverty and gender in marine spatial planning
  4. Knowledge modules on maritime planning
  5. Web-based tool that supports marine spatial planning by assessing the cumulative environmental impact of human activities – WIO Symphony
  6. Data layers of ecosystem components and pressures in the Western Indian Ocean
  7. Open-source code for a Symphony tool
  8. Study on flood measures in Juba and Shabelle in Somalia
  9. Taking stock tool – an analysis tool for increased transparency in fisheries
  10. FiTI’s reports on transparency in fisheries for 11 countries around the world

Several of these products were part-financed by our bilateral environmental and climate cooperation.
